2013 Irons Test
These were James’ favourite-looking irons on test due to lack of offset, small head and thin topline, just a beautiful club that felt solid with good feedback. It was one of Joel’s favourites, too, thinner-looking but not too narrow, feels really balanced. Kit liked the classic look, but said it felt a little hard at impact. The performance let it down for James. It was one of Joel’s best, averaging 176 yards.
Cobra-Puma's commitment to game-improvers with their AMP Cell and Baffler irons is impressive, but they’ve also catered for the better player, too. Ian Poulter and Rickie Fowler had input into the stunning new AMP Cell Pro irons, which will offer solid players more feel and workability.
