Nike Golf VR Pro wedge Review

Mike produced a masterclass with the VR Pro. Chris approved of the shape of the head, but Pete found the groove pattern on the face off-putting.

The wedge of choice for Nike’s stable of Tour players and was in Charl Schwartzel’s bag when he captured the Masters title last April. We also think this is a great option and the RRP for a premium wedge is an attractive one. In terms of technology this is forged for a softer feel and features Nike’s new X3X groove pattern to maintain spin levels following the change in groove regulations.

The face features more grooves closer together as well as an aggressive laser cross-hatch texture. New for 2012 is a  new dual sole (DS) option which features special heel relief for more versatility in opening the wedge up to play a variety of shots.
