Golf World Magazine March Issue

Golf World March 2014 Issue

Our March issue features a cover story with world number one, Tiger Woods. For years, Tiger has been a master of the short game, and here we give you exclusive insight into his secrets, which you can apply to your own game.

In addition, we have an exclusive interview with Tiger’s coach, Sean Foley. The Canadian is the hottest coach in the world at the moment, and – apart from Tiger – US Open Champion Justin Rose and American Ryder Cup player Hunter Mahan are also in his stable. Indeed, he recently had to tell ex world number one that he would be too busy to take him on as well. Foley talks openly about how to make a good golf swing and what he has learned from his star pupils.

As our countdown to the 2014 Ryder Cup at Gleneagles, we review the angriest match ever played in this biennial encounter, when Bernard Gallacher and Brian Huggett came up against Ken Still and Dave Hill. It was pistols in the afternoon, and very nearly ended in a mass brawl between all four players. We talk to the protagonists, and find out who was right and who was wrong.

At a time of year when we all want to be planning our getaways, our travel section includes articles on Costa Navarino in Greece, a ‘Guide to Cornwall’ and ‘Tunisia in 72 hours’.
