The brand new Today’s Golfer Travel Awards – sponsored by Your Golf Travel – will end the year in style…and are poised to become the ‘Oscars’ of the golfing world.
The winners of the inaugural awards will be decided by you, the knowledgeable, much-travelled legion of Today’s Golfer readers and golfers who we are asking to carefully select their favourite courses, hotels and resorts both in the UK and continental Europe.
Vote and you could well win a two nights’ B&B stay at the five star Celtic Manor Resort near Newport, South Wales, with three rounds of golf (on the Twenty Ten, Roman Road & Montgomerie courses). Valid for four people.
This superb prize will be won by one lucky voter and has been provided by leading UK golf travel company Your Golf Travel and is worth over £1,200 in total.
There will be Best Course and Best Hotel/Resort categories for England (divided into four regions – north, south, east & midlands and west), Scotland, Wales and Ireland and likewise for Spain, Portugal and France.
In addition, another key award will be the Best Value Golf Destination (Continental Europe) and among those in the running for this top title are Turkey, the Czech Republic, the Lisbon Coast and Spain’s Costa Brava and Costa de la Luz regions.
The eagerly-anticipated TG Travel Awards are fittingly being backed by Your Golf Travel, one of Europe’s biggest and best golf tour operators and who have donated a fantastic golf break prize (see below) to a lucky voter – one reader/golfer who has taken the time and trouble to cast their favourite golfing venues will be rewarded in spectacular style!

The lists below are just a guide and feature some of the biggest and best names in golf which may well have thrilled entertained and given you top value-for-money this year. You’ll also find some surprise packets and if there’s a ‘hidden gem’ out there you’ve experienced, you can reveal the name of the venue via ‘another option/your choice.’…
