Ready for the Longest Day Golf Challenge?

Are you up for the ultimate test of golf? Seventy holes, 20 miles and 300 shots all before sundown in Macmillan Cancer Support’s Longest Day Golf Challenge.

Regardless of age and ability, all golfers are welcome to play four rounds of to raise much needed funds for people affected by cancer.

Last year over 800 teams took to their local courses and used all their superhero powers to raise £787,000 for the charity. Macmillan are hopeful that this year’s event will be even bigger, better and raise even more cash with £1million the target!

The 2013 Longest Day Golf final saw the top four teams battle it out at the luxurious Boavista Golf Resort in the western Algarve, Portugal. It took sweat, stamina and a sense of humour to tackle the gruelling competition but, in the end, Macmillan crowned The Flashing Blades (pictured) the ultimate golfing marathon victors.

Once again the teams raising the most cash will win a grand final trip to Boavista (www.boavistagolf.co.uk) in October.
