A number of tour players have switched to Rife putters, even though they don't get paid for using them - so is Rife's Two-Bar Tour Mallet worth considering for your bag?

The black finish will appeal to the eye and the two weight bars directly behind the ball are designed to place plenty of mass behind the face as well as making alignment and stroke easier.

The grooved face also imparts more top spin on the ball for a smoother roll and with tour players like Justin Rose using the two-bar it would seem like a good choice.

TG equipment editor David Connor has had a bash with it to see how it feels on the short grass and has produced the video below with the results.
