PING Unveil New G25 Irons

Published:

Improving on the G20 irons was going to be a difficult job, but PING might just have done that with the G25s because not only do they offer forgiveness, great distance and better feel, they also look great too.

The first thing to note with these new game-improver irons is that aesthetically, they are the best PING have ever produced in this category. The G20s, and the G15s that went before, were brilliant clubs that delivered a high launch and solid distance, but some golfers did think they were just too chunky.

PING has addressed this issue with the G25s – they feature a sleeker profile design, and progressive sole widths. The longer irons are easier to launch, while the shorter irons offer more control and playability.

The irons also feature an enhanced Custom Tuning Port which is lower than in the G20s – stabilizing bars help to improve feel, but they also work to give predictable distances through the bag.

We are hugely-excited about these new irons, and while the driver will understandably grab the headlines, if you’re about ready for a new set of irons we’d advise you to try these out, especially given PING’s renowned custom-fitting history.
