TG teams up with FJ for the return of MyJoys May

With the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth just around the corner, Today’s Golfer has teamed up with FootJoy to offer readers the chance to design a pair of FJ golf shoes for one of its brand ambassadors as part of the MyJoys May promotion.

In celebration of the ever-popular MyJoys franchise, FootJoy, the #1 Shoe in Golf, is inviting Today’s Golfer readers to create the shoes Race to Dubai leader Jamie Donaldson will wear as he competes for a fourth tour success over Wentworth’s West Course.

The Welshman, himself a massive fan of the MyJoys programme, is seeking the creative inspiration from readers to come up with a unique pair of FJ’s as he attempts to stride to victory.

Entries close on 25th April after which Donaldson will select his favourite design to wear on the Thursday of tournament week. The winning designer will also receive their own pair of MyJoys, as well as two tickets for the biggest regular tour event on European soil, so they can witness their design in action.

Since being launched in 2009, the MyJoys franchise has become one of golf’s biggest success stories. Every year thousands of golfers choose to have their FJ shoes customised to suit their own personal style, with more than nine million fit, design and colour combinations to choose from.

“We know that Jamie is looking forward to choosing from the many designs we can expect to receive over the next few weeks,” said Russell Lawes, FJ Marketing Manager. “With the massive selection available through MyJoys we’d expect to see some very imaginative entries. That’s the beauty of MyJoys; the options are almost endless.”
