One of the stand out garments in the line is the Typhoon waterproof chino trouser, guaranteed by PING to be waterproof for three years. It has been engineered to look, feel and fit like a high-quality chino but offers the performance of a waterproof pant. This ensures complete versatility for the golfer and provides an innovative alternative to carrying the traditional waterproof pant during the round, freeing up valuable space and weight in the golf bag.
In the Typhoon, PING has utilised a lightweight chino twill surface, laminated to a high performance film to guarantee waterproof protection. A highly durable, water repellent finish has also been added to the surface of the fabric to bead water away from the garment and enable dirt to be easily wiped away.
Guaranteed waterproof protection is ensured with all seams sealed throughout. A stretch fabric and straight leg fit provide complete comfort and create the silhouette of a classic chino. The Typhoon also features a soft, stretchable lining, security side zip pockets and an internal self-sizer waistband, further increasing comfort during play.
