Revealed: The new Mizuno MP-5 Iron

Traditionally irons have fallen into blade or cavity type categories but Mizuno insist the MP-5’s are neither, but rather a revolutionary “Channel Back”.
The new MP-5’s have undergone extensive testing amongst Mizuno’s Tour Staff and have been designed for ultimate feel and workability. The “Channel Back” locates mass behind the hitting area to deliver blade like feel whilst also positioning weight in areas of the club to influence stability and performance on off-centre hits.
Cosmetically the 5’s are a bit like the older MP-64’s. Even though the heads are slightly bigger than a traditional blade everything has been tailored to the better player. A slightly thicker top edge gives a clean powerful look at address and of course you can expect the excellent feel associated with a set of Mizuno forged irons.
If your games good enough or you just fancy playing with a pro calibre set of irons you can expect to find the MP-5’s in good golf shops from early September 2015 with a price of £115 per iron.
