Motocaddy announce S5 CONNECT trolley

Motocaddy have created its most technologically advanced electric trolley to date, becoming the first trolley brand to combine a GPS system and a smart phone app.

The UK’s top-selling trolley brand are seeking to revolutionise the market with their S5 CONNECT trolley, which comes with a free app that aims to be used in place of a conventional GPS device. The brand’s first app can be synced to the trolley via a Bluetooth connection on any compatible smartphone, and will provide golfers with courses, detailed distance data and notifications to alert them of incoming calls, texts, email or a range of app alerts such as Facebook.

The trolley itself will still feature a digital control button which regulates the nine speed settings and stopping and starting as required around the course.  Meanwhile, your phone will remain connected even when contained inside a pocket of a golf bag or while being connected to the USB charging port built in to the trolley

Motocaddy’s newest offering also includes a soft-touch ergonomic handle, a streamlined battery tray to accommodate the full range of lithium batteries, quick release wheels, super-fast QUICKFOLD mechanism, adjustable distance control and compatibility with the EASILOCK bag-to-trolley connection system.

A ‘Play Now’ mode has 36,000 courses accessible worldwide with overhead maps and detailed yardages, distance of the last shot and dedicated greenside information.

A ‘Shot Planning Control’ option can pinpoint how far any target is on the course; while the automatic course recognition and hole advancement enables the app to move between holes and view the lie of the land during play.

The ‘Power Save’ option changes the look of the app simply providing front, middle and back yardages as well as a course round timer, the hole number, par of the hole and clock.

Available in five different languages (English, French, German, Spanish and Swedish)
