Bridgestone’s new e-Series balls – the e5, e6 and e7 – are aimed at golfers looking to hit it further and straighter. They’re also the most popular offerings in Bridgestone’s ball range. The new-for-2015 balls in the series continue the theme of the previous models – a softer compression that gets progressively firmer as you move out from the centre.
But for this year, each ball features a new dimple pattern that improves the aerodynamics for more distance. The result is a more penetrating flight with a shallower landing angle for more roll. The new e6 incorporates a low-spin mantle designed to combat the spin typically found in slices and hooks. Bridgestone says it’s the softest multi-layer ball on the market.
