Women tee off for FREE with MacDonald Hotels and Resorts

Female players will be able to experience a round of free golf at one of the group’s renowned courses, from the rolling countryside at Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel, Golf & Spa, to the breathtaking backdrop of the Championship Golf Course at Macdonald Spey Valley in the Cairngorms mountain range.

Keith Pickard, Group Director of Golf at Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, said: “Golf is an incredibly rewarding and challenging game for many, but it is crucial that we secure interest from the female market to keep the sport current and future-proof the game for the next generations.

“The popularity of the Ladies Professional Golf Association is a clear indication that there is a definite thirst for the sport from mainstream media and players. We’re looking forward to inviting female golfers to get on the green and experience our top quality courses.”

National Golf Month raises awareness of the sport to the general public and is aiming to introduce the game to more than 100,000 people, with a main push to get more women playing golf.

The offer will be available to women at all five of Macdonald Hotel and Resorts which includes, the world famous Macdonald Spey Valley in Aviemore, Macdonald Portal Hotel, Golf & Spa, Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel, Golf & Spa, Macdonald Cardrona Hotel, Golf & Spa and Macdonald Linden Hall Golf and Country Club.

The Free Golf for Women offer includes one free round of golf per female golfer, from May 25 to June 15. The key info:
