Top Greece resort to stage major Pro-Am event

Greece’s no.1 golf resort – Costa Navarino – is getting ready to host the first Messinian Pro Am on February 21-24.
Top professional and amateur players, celebrities and special guests from all over the world will compete on the award-winning Dunes and Bay courses, the only signature courses in Greece.
Basketball legend and accomplished golfer Joe Arlauckas, along with Tino Schuster, member of the PGA European Tour and two-time German professional champion, are among the confirmed participants who will have the opportunity to enjoy the ideal weather conditions, the Mediterranean landscape and the stunning Ionian Sea and Bay of Navarino views.
The Dunes Course was designed by Bernhard Langer, former US Masters champion and victorious Europe Ryder Cup captain, in association with European Golf Design. The neighbouring Bay layout was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and is plottednext to the historic Bay of Navarino.
The Messinia Pro-Am aims to become an established event with the chief aim to significantly contribute towards the development and promotion of golf and golf tourism in Greece.
AEGEAN, member of STAR ALLIANCE, will be the official air carrier of the event. The airline was recognised by Skytrax World Airline Awards as the best regional airline in Europe for 2015.
