It’s Monday! Sit back, relax, and enjoy the best shots from last week

Scotsman Russell Knox secured a two-shot victory at last week’s WGC HSBC Champions at Sheshan International in Shanghai.

His final round 68 saw him finish 20-under, two clear of Kevin Kisner and three clear of Danny Willett, who equalled the course record with a 62. It was 30-year-old Knox’s first victory on either the PGA or European Tour, and will catapult his world ranking from 85th to 31st. Jordan Spieth finished seventh, good enough to return to the top of the world rankings, with Jason Day absent and Rory McIlroy finishing 11th.

More importantly, the event that brings us bizarre PR shots of the world’s best golfers banging drums and being tickled by Chinese dragons also brought us some fantastic golf shots. Here’s our pick of the best…

In the bunker… ball below your feet… anything could happen… including an eagle

Nicely done, Martin Flores.

One-bounce hole-out from Brian Davis

Looks like his ball had somewhere to be.

We’re not entirely sure how this effort from Rory McIlroy didn’t drop

Are we destined not to see an ace? Dustin Johnson also went very close…

Finally, there’s your ace! And a 213-yarder at that!

We’re glad that spectator got excited, because Ewan Murray sounded like he was going to fall asleep
