Brooks Koepka raced through the back nine of Erin Hills on his way to his record-equalling first major victory at the US Open - with several different club makes in his bag
Koepka was left without a deal when Nike announced they were leaving the golf equipment industry last year, and while the ability to choose whichever clubs you wish gives a certain amount of freedom, there is no doubt it comes with its pitfalls too.
Although he doesn't have an equipment deal with Mizuno, he did use their JPX 900 Tour irons to hit 62 out of 72 greens in regulation throughout the week at the US Open (including 17/18 on Sunday)- ranking first among his peers.
The new major champion has been using TaylorMade's M2 Driver since Autumn last year, and also plays with their 2017 M2 3-wood.
