A traditional heathland/woodland mix that is extremely picturesque. Very reminiscent of the sand belt courses around London and has even been described as ‘a Belgian Sunningdale’. The front half has far more trees while the homeward stretch has fairways protected by wiry clumps of heather.  

Royal Des Fagnes Golf Club offer an 18 hole, part heathland, part woodland course designed in the 30's by renowned golf architect Tom Simpson. The course is surrounded by dense woodland and features numerous strategically-placed bunkers providing all levels of golfer with a challenge.
