The Scandinavian Golf Club (Old)

What we say

Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr and Bruce Charlton created a modern classic on an unremarkable former military site. The short holes are especially good while several robust par 4s keep you very honest. The clubhouse is quietly spectacular.

This is the kind of golf course, where you can send out 100 players and everyone still think they're alone. Though only 20 minutes drive from Copenhagen center and the international airport it is park forest with a great fauna and tons of the Danish "hygge". Still it's a test to even the most demanding golfers, and I haven't met anyone who wouldn't feel an urge to go directly to first tee after ending their round. The clubhouse is unique, designed by Henning Larsen Architects and inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright. The restaurant serves gourmet food alongside more traditional dishes, and the quality of the meals is obviously touched by the chef who came from Michel Roux Jr's 2-Michelin Star Le Gavroches in London. All golf players are welcome and the training facilities have all the services you could ask for - including three covered bays with TrackMan equipment.
