Woodenbridge Golf Club

What we say

This parkland, developed from 9 to 18 holes in 1994, makes great use of its position at the confluence of the Avoca and Aughrim rivers. In fact the perils of the deep come into play on 10 holes, best remembered on the 18th where a corking drive over the water is required.

Woodenbridge Golf Club, established in 1897, offered a 9 hole course until 1994, when the decision was made to extend the course to 18 holes. The extensions to the course were designed by Paddy Merrigan. The course features numerous mature trees, as well as the River Avoca and River Aughrim meandering through and around the course. The hazards presented will make this course a challenge for golfers of any ability.
