  • 2 out of 5 Dissapointing

Two courses, Levante (championship course) and Poniete (resort course). Disappointing. Levante championship course is not particulary challenging as long as you can stay out of the bunkers. Poniente course is in some ways the more challenging and enjoyable but is essentially a long pitch and putt course. On Levante, greens had excessive sand on them and drainage in areas poor. I was also far from impressed by the clubhouse starter staff, though clubhouse is nice and views are special. However, a disappointing experience for a Nicklaus design.

  • 4.5 out of 5 Awesome Par 3's

Absolutly amazing course. Have just returned from a golfing holiday with the lads. We originally hoped to play the championship course, but due to an circumstances beyond our control (and nothing to do with the golf club either) we ended up playing on the shorter course, not brilliant we thought, but a round of golf is better than nothing at all. Do not be fooled, we were amzed by this course, there are no par 5's, just 10 par 3's and 8 par 4's, but the scenary and challenge presented by this course is fantastic, exceptinally well placed (and maintained bunkers), brilliant greens and some of the most amazing holes I have ever seen, elevated tee's with ravines below to catch poorly struck shots on par 3's and one of par 4's with 2 streams to cross, it's the 1st time we've all taken a 7 iron off the tee on a par 4, to ensure you hit the fairway to give a decent 8 iron shot over the tree's and 2nd stream to the green. Fantastic, play this course, you'll love it
