77 Little Aston

Though it’s fallen since 2008, it is still one of just a few parklands to make the list. They’ve cleared trees and added bunkers on the 9th while on the next, tree thinning to the left carry allows views of the green and where drives finish.

David McLay Kidd was at one with nature when he routed Machrihanish Dunes through a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Of the 259 acres on which the course sits, only seven were disturbed by McLay Kidd.
