CLUB COMMENT: A new championship tee on the 14th, plus a new tee on the 11th. New bunkers on the first and a bunker has been moved on the third.

One of many Top 100 entries for Harry Colt, who was asked to modify Broadstone using a typically terrific stretch of heathland which lies to the west of the railway line. Colt’s seven holes there are perhaps the highlight but this is a course where nice surprises await round every corner. The back nine offers lovely views of the Purbeck Hills and Poole Harbour.
