Founded in 1888 as a nine-holer along the River Ythan estuary and coastal dunes, additional land was acquired in 1995 to turn it into an 18-holer. It sits between Royal Aberdeen and Cruden Bay and is just two miles from Trump International – so is a worthy addition to an itinerary in the Aberdeen area.
