St Neots Golf Club

What we say

You’ll discover this mature parkland, designed by the legendary Harry Vardon, just off the A1 at the junction of the rivers Kym and Ouse. With most fairways tree-lined, good course management – and keeping it dead straight – is critical.

Visitors get a warm welcome, and the course provides a fair test – it’s tougher than it looks at first glance. The par-4 12th is a good test. Bravery could be rewarded, but only if you avoid trouble left, right and around the green!

St Neots Golf Club was Cambridgeshire's first established Golf Club designed by seven time Major winner Harry Vardon.

With its modern and forward thinking approach, the mature 18 hole parkland course is situated at the junction of the Rivers Kym and Ouse, it combines both water and charming features in a harmonious and natural way.

With its tree lined fairways, a great test for all golfers.

After all the rain we were not expecting a pleasurable round. How wrong could we have been! The course was in great condition with full tees and greens in play. A good but fair test of golf with some excellent par 3's. Excellent club house with great food at good value, we certainly be returning.

  • 2.5 out of 5 Wow factor goes AWOL??

    By WarboysCliff

For me St Neots is a tidy well kept golf club, no more no less. I'm totally amazed that it averages 4.5 stars for wow factor, there is no wow factor? I think the greens are the biggest plus point of this short, but challenging litle course. Theres isn't any wow factor though, I'm struggling to remeber a single hole that made me go WOW. Overall value for money is okay as long as your equipped with a 2 for 1 voucher, if not it I think it's overpriced. Visit the course in winter and it will be a sticky boggy mess, visit it in summer and it will be a pretty if repetative parkland course.

What a fantastic Course. The staff in both the pro-shop and the bar/restaurant were very friendly. We had a problem with our buggy and it was sorted out by the pro/greenstaff as soon as they could . The members were really helpful too - advising on the best ways around the course. Is certainly one to recommend - Absolutely excellent course and well worth the money .

  • 4.5 out of 5 Brilliant Day Golfing and Warm Welcome

    By Richard Armitage

What a wonderful day of golf. Took my father in law for a day of golf and what brilliant value. Using the vouchers it was £20 for the whole day (36 holes). Lunch was £5 each and good quality and decent portions. The couse was an absolute delight, testing and in amazing condition. The welcome from the satff and the members was first class. I have never had a better reception from members, all would chat to you genuinely interested in your round. For a days golfing and value this would be very hard to beat
