What we say

Abridge is one of the county’s finest. Henry Cotton designed the mature par-72 parkland layout just over half a century ago and two loops of nine conveniently start and finish at the clubhouse.

Set in the rolling countryside of Essex, Abridge is a typical parkland-style golf course.

From the back tees the course plays quite long and poses a challenge to all golfers. Off the yellow tees, the course is certainly more playable for the average golfer and offers good scoring opportunities.
