Chigwell Golf Club

What we say

Within easy reach of the M25, Chigwell has long been a popular destination for golfers in the London area.

Although it only plays 6,296 yards off of the back tees, the undulating fairways and small greens make it a fine test of anyone's golf game.

The greens are well protected by bunkers and the mature trees make the course fairly tight in places, adding to the course's difficulty.

After the round, the newly refurbished clubhouse is the perfect place to discuss your round at this pretty yet tough course.

  • 4 out of 5 A little gem in Essex - a challenge for all handicaps

Chigwell is not long, only 6300 yards but a combination of small greens, tight fairways and sloping lies make it a real challenge for all. I played it with 3 single figure golfers and we all struggled to beat the course. It is friendly, welcoming and well worth a visit if you are in North London or Essex. If you get over 30 points you have played well.
