Ormonde Fields Golf & Country Club celebrated its centenary year last year and has proved a highly popular venue since opening in 1906. The golf course is laid out on impressive undulating parkland and continues to provide a good all-round test of golf.

    The course has developed over recent years and this shows in the maintenance, signage and overall appearance.. It was in fine condition in May 2014, probably the best since I started playing there some 8 years ago. The design of the course offers a challenge to golfers at all levels but is not so difficult as to put lesser players off. The members are friendly and welcoming and Ormonde offers a great days golfing at a very reasonable price. Well worth a visit and it will stay on my list of places to play every year.
