Overstone Park Golf Club

What we say

The Overstone Park Golf Course is quite tricky in places, but overall a solid course.

It winds its way round the huge hotel and leisure complex and is quite hilly, but it flows well and offers a good mix of holes.

The greens can get a bit tatty as the course gets a lot of traffic. Some good holes tempt you with tough iron shots and some of your drives need to be threaded between the trees.

It’s a solid course without being spectacular.

Designed by Donald Steele, Overstone Park Golf Club's 18-hole golf course is proud to boast they are one of the most popular golf courses for playing golf, taking lessons or hosting golf days in Northampton.

The golf course offers a, "fair but challenging," game to the novice or experienced golfer, with a number of attractive feature holes. Private membership and pay & play are equally as welcome. They specialise in corporate and society golf days throughout the year, with special seasonal package offers always available. The course is suitable for all levels of golfers, even those who are starting out!

Your Reviews

  • 3 out of 5 Decent course and some scenic spots, but needs to mature

    By derekm

Have played here a few times in inter-club matches. Lovely people and nice buildings but the course is bland and too open in places allowing big hitters to bypass the fairway route visa another hole at times!  A couple of nice par threes and challenging overall but needs time and some more trees to make it amongst the best in the county ...

I played in October 2009 and must say these greens are some of the best in the county. The helpful and friendly staff in their well stocked pro shop pointed me in the direction of the first tee after i paid a great rate of £18 for 18 holes. The course was in fantastic condition for the time of year and would definately recommend a visit
