Spring water golf course its challenging a pleasure to play it is not a easy course but it can also be a good challenge from a 28 handicap to a scratch player also the pro Paul drew and all the staff very friendly and helpful I would recommend spring water golf centre to every one who enjoys golf.

I feel having played this course half a dozen times in the past 18 months, however  I only go there because my friends do. The course is fine and in very good order, with some well though out holes and tee positions. The greens are execellent and when the pins are in medal positions are extremely difficult, you can 3 putt a couple from 12 feet. However the overall experience is lacking warmth, you dont leave the club house feeling I must come back!

We played this course Sunday 17th June with our Society and what a course ! The greens were in excellent condition ( no geese droppings on the 18th ) The course is hilly, you make you way up the hill for the first three holes, the next four or five holes are flat on top of the hill, you then make your back way down to the clubhouse, there were very tired golfers at the 19th ! There are so many interesting holes I found the course tricky as a 28 handicapper. The condition of the course was excellent, the best we'd played that year so far, the greens were quick and challenging, fairways and tees were also in excellent condition. What a superb day, would book this course again no problem, fantastic !

  • 3.5 out of 5 WOW - What a difference!

I hadn't played this course since June 2006 and boy-O-boy was I in for a surprise?! The arrival of a new Head Greenskeeper in early 2007 appears to have heralded a minor miracle at Springwater CG. The entire course was in almost pristine condition when compared to June 2006 - some very serious work has been put into this course in the recent past. The actual course now comes highly recommended although the facilities are, unfortunately, not quite up to the same exceptional standard.

A nice testing course thats not to bad on the legs! The club house is ok. The shop is poor. The members i met weren't that friendly.
