  • 4 out of 5 local member slightly biased

a tough test of golf awaits. very long of some tee's and most greens are raised. in winter mainly of temp tee's onto well kept temp greens. very windy all year round as very open. if your looking for a challenge then come along. club shop is coming along well stocked and a good clubhouse awaits at the 19th

  • 3.5 out of 5 Very Challenging!!

    By The Eagle

Upon arriving the welcome was great as were the facilities, food, drinks etc. The course looks flat and on the whole like it is going to be easy. ITS NOT!!! Very demanding off the tee, the greens are firm so you cant fly the ball all the way onto them. You really do have to be straight off the tee and plot your way round to score well here. 31 of us played and the winner got 36 pts!! Say no more. Great course though and people really friendly.

  • 2.5 out of 5 It looks boring......but

    By John Griffin

It looks flat and boring, but is in fact a stern test especially of accurate and long tee shots. The greens are small with many raised, and the rough punitive. The star hole is the 520 yard 9th, and the hardest the 520 yard 4th. The second half is easier than the first, just. There is normally a brisk to hard SW wind as the course is open to the west for 40 miles! Not for short hitters or short tempers.
