  • 3 out of 5 Doe's exactly what it say's on the tin

Ansty golf centre must be taken on the price of 18 holes. the dress code is non existent you could quite easily walse on the tee wearing a pair of speedo's. the course in winter is stodgy and standing water is the norm, During summer time the course comes into its own. The greens are fair if not a little uneven the holes are a mixed bag and the 12th par 4 uphill drive hole would be a test for any pro golfer with a blind drive, large mature trees in the fairway and an upturned saucer of a green guarded by a pig of a bunker front left. food is good a nice pitch and putt for short game practice and a patio to sip your poison in the sun.

  • 3 out of 5 A decent course at a very fair price!

I played Ansty with three of my cousins. None of us are particularly good golfers, but we all enjoyed Ansty very much. the course is well thought out, but not a massive challenge (especially for an experienced golfer). It has wide fairways with good hazards, but isn't so difficult to make the rounds misearble for hackers like us! This course is very good value for money for beginners and intermediate golfers. We really did enjoy our round here.

  • 3.5 out of 5 good in the summer

Have always liked the course - the main problems are down to the amount of use it gets. It can be really busy and slow and in the winter its very muddy and not much fun at all. In the summer though, its a decent course with a good variety of holes and a really good quality of greens, considering how much use it gets.

  • 3 out of 5 A Cheap Challenge

This a great course for golfers learning the game. The Ansty offers cheap green fees with a fun challenging course. In golf you rarly get a bargain but the Ansty is bargain of a course.

Ansty is quite a challenge when the wind is blowing but because it opens in all weathers, the green and tee areas do not keep well. Long par 4 12th is a tough one and a bogey is not a bad score on this. Par-5 18th is a good chance to finish the round with a birdie. Value for money is OK but there are far better local courses.

Ansty is a very good course in the heart of Warwickshire. Its undulating course can be quite challenging when playing into wind, but also rewarding when trying for par 5's in two with it. Players of all handicaps can find themselves having that "round of your life!" if they stay on the short stuff!! The greens are true and in good condition throughout the year, and though the fairways are also good they can sometimes get very boggy in the winter months. The clubhouse and staff offer a warm welcome to any visitors and the pro shop is very well kitted out. Overall, Ansty offers exceptional value for money.
