Alderley Edge Golf Club

What we say

A classy mature nine-holer of 2905 yards which runs through undulating meadowland and is a favourite with ex-golf commentator Alex Hay. Several holes on ‘The Edge’ have two sets of tees to add variety to the challenge if you play it twice.

Alderley Edge Golf Club commands fine views of 'The Edge', a densely-wooded escarpment rising above the Cheshire plain. Set in rolling countryside, Whitehall Brook runs through this nine-hole layout and comes into play on most holes, making for a significant challenge to all standards of golfer.

  • 4 out of 5 A great 9 hole challenge

A tough 18 holes. Excellent condition with friendly welcome. Stream meanders through course and causes club selection problems. The 8th is very tough - 175 yard carry over valley. I recommend it.
