Birchwood Golf Club

What we say

Even though it’s in the middle of a business park and next to the M62, Birchwood is a mature parkland with a fine combination of holes. The final four holes are regarded as the most demanding closing stretch in the county.

Birchwood Park has been recognised nationally as a pioneering club that promotes and develops the health and social benefits of children playing golf. The club also works tirelessly with the community to raise funds for good causes.

Come and enjoy our first class facilities including an outstanding 18-hole golf course and a time-saving 9 hole course, ideal for beginners and families. There’s also a floodlit driving range open into the evenings, with coaching from PGA qualified golf professionals and a well stocked golf shop with all the latest golf equipment and fashions. You’re also welcome to come and relax in the Clubhouse – or work out at the Horizones Fitness Centre.

Played there this week. I really enjoyed it. Interesting mix of holes. The greens were excellent for March as were bunkers and fairways. One possible area for improvement would be to tidy up the tee boxes.
