Alston Moor Golf Club

What we say

The Alston Moor Golf Club may be a ten hole venue but it is steeped in history, having celebrated its centenary year in 2006. It also happens to be the highest golf course in England - and possibly the United Kingdom - having moved to its current site 1,700ft above sea level approx, around 40 years ago.

It's situated 15 miles south of the Roman Wall and somewhat predictably offers spectacular views of the North Pennines.
