What we say
Penrith Golf Club was founded in 1890 and is situated in a splendid location between Eden Valley and the majesty of the Lake District, the lakeland fells provide a magnificent backdrop to this par 69 course.
The golf course is within five minutes of the M6 and offers a fine day's golf for those travelling to and from Scotland. It also serves as an ideal base for those pursuing golfing breaks in Cumbria while Penrith is about two hours from top Open Championship golf courses such as Royal Lytham St Annes, Royal Birkdale and Muirfield.

Penrith is a very good quality course. It offers a large variety of holes and stunning views. The food is good and the facilities excellent. All in all, this fine parkland course offers great value for money
Played in an open comp. to find greens required a good cut, fairways were a mess. Was very shocked as this is usually a well kept course. Views over lakeland fells are superb and also a good test of golf.
