Castletown Golf Links Club

What we say

Combine some of the best course designers in the world with some of the best views in the UK and you get Castletown Golf Links.

Old Tom Morris, Alister Mackenzie and Phlip Mackenzie Ross have all had a hand in the creation of Castletown Golf Links.

This rugged Isle of Man links mixes beachside and clifftop holes and incorporates rolling fairways, links bunkering, a regular breeze direction and shots hit across the Irish Sea.

The views are excellent too, sometimes reaching England and Scotland on especially clear days but always of the beaches and sea.

Set within the Langness Peninsula, the course is lined on three sides by the water and more than 100 species of birds visit the sanctuary that surrounds the course annually.

Grey seals make their home playing among underwater plant life and the land is an area of special scientific interest, so expect backdrops of wild flowers, the golden gorse flower, fine links grasses and purple heather.

  • 5 out of 5 Castletown Golf Links - Simply Amazing!

    By James

I was fortunate enough to play Castletown Golf Links with a group of friends recently (flights from Gatwick with Easyjet were good value). The change of ownership a few years back with subsequent investment has made all the difference to this diamond in the rough. The course is looking well manicured and playing fantastically well, coupled with the splendid views and variety of challenges on every hole - it makes for a wonderful experience. The off-course service was also great with a warm welcome and good banter, the new clubhouse was completed to a good standard with beautiful views across the bay - we enjoyed a few nice cold beers on the deck in the sun after our round and explored a few of the sites the Isle of Man has to offer. Definitely going back to play this gem again.
