Take your A-game along to this cracking hidden gem. Traps and ditches abound to catch wayward shots and your putter should be red hot too – the greens are fast and true but feature many subtle borrows which demand careful attention to ensure you’ve got the right line.

The course was constructed in 1994 amidst 132 acres and has magnificent panoramic views over the Lancashire Plain and Welsh Hills. This splendid course has been enhanced by the planting of 25,000 trees to expand the existing mature landscape.

    Played this course with my Dad last week, and you couldn't tell it had rained steadily for the previous week or so. Quality views and smooth, fairly quick greens were a delight to put on. The one down side to it is I wouldn't like to be a member here as it is on the side of a hill, making some stances awkward to say the least and I'd recommend a buggy to anyone considering playing here. Young lad in Pro Shop needed some customer service training too.
