A lake features on three holes and a wooded stream dissects the golf course. Hickleton is renowned for its friendly atmosphere.

    From driving onto the course, you get the feeling this is not a normal course. Pro shop is well stocked and staff in clubhouse are extremely polite and helpful - a true Yorkshire welcome. Course is not long but very hilly in places. Course is well tended and greens are very good. Lots of very good views from on the course and is generally easy on the eye. Need to think way round this course, but if you do it is possible to score well. Can be subject to closure in extreme wet, but this serves to protect the course. If you are in the area try to find this course and play it is well worth the visit.
