Acanthus Golf Centre is a modern centre, located only a few minutes from the M62, with facilities including an automated driving range, as well as a snack bar with television and wifi, which can be used free of charge.

The course runs parallel with the M62, and features some hazards presented by trees, as well as various strategically-placed bunkers.

    Acanthus Golf is completely closed down, has been for a couple of years. The buildings are completely empty and the telephone number is unrecognised.
