What we say

West Middlesex is a private members' club but also welcomes visitors. The club has public days on Mondays and Wednesdays when visitors can benefit from substantially reduced green fees. There's no need to book - just turn up and play. The course itself is an undulating parkland layout located at the junction of Uxbridge Road, Southall (A4020).

    Design and condition: Played in December and the course was in good condition - greens, fairways and bunkers all well kept. Playability: West Middx is not a long course, less than 6000 yards but it has a lot of interesting feature holes. After a gentle opening dog-leg left, the 2nd is a beauty and daunting for a high handicapper like myself. It's a 180 yard par 3 over a 'ravine'. Fall short and you are in big trouble ! The 11th is a picturesque par 3 over a lake. Facilities and welcome: As they are tight for space, there is no driving range, only a couple of nets along with a putting green. The small pro shop is well stocked. Excellent bar. In summary, this is a very enjoyable course and they take 2-fore-1 vouchers after noon at weekends, bringing the cost down to £15 ! Where else can you play for so little at a weekend in London ?!
