What we say
Bovey Castle Golf Club provides a spine-tingling test of golf in one of the most beautiful settings around. It's immaculate, thanks to former owner Peter de Savary who bought the place in 2003 and threw £30m into restoring the golf course and the stunning Edwardian country house hotel to its 1920s heyday. Yes, it's pricey but, as you'd expect, it's pretty special too.a
Designed to rival its sister golf courses at Gleneagles and Turnberry, Bovey Castle Golf Club has been described as an experience of golf never to be forgotten, presenting the pure challenge of golf to professional and amateur alike.
Overlooking the first hole, the ClubHouse is a friendly and relaxed place to enjoy an early breakfast, casual lunch or drink with friends.
The club's Golf Shop will be able to reserve your tee-times, arrange golf lessons for the complete beginner to advanced tuition. Clubs and a wide choice of golf merchandise are also available.
Stay & Play: There's a luxury five star hotel on site.

Played Bovey Castle half a dozen or so times, fantastic course, beautifully kept, and very challenging. Lots of water to watch out for! The hotel is first class in every way, and the food wonderful. The price does reflect 5* but good deals can be found on golfbreaks.com. Highly recommended.
