In 1996 nearly £500K was spent on a new look for the Henbury Golf Club's golf course and a total refurbishment of the clubhouse interior taking Henbury into the new millennium. The golf club has retained its sylvan charm despite being within easy reach of J17 of the M5 and close to the villages of Westbury on-Trym, Stoke Bishop and Henbury.
