Woodspring Golf & Country Club

What we say

Save up to 33% when you book a tee time online

Designed by Donald Steel, Peter Alliss and Clive Clark, Woodspring Golf & Country Club provides golfers with challenges that are testing, fair and enjoyable. It comprises three loops of nine - the Avon, Brunel and Severn - and each nine has its own characteristics.

The Brunel has some testing water features that come into play while the  Severn is the longest nine and asks for some good long tee shots to give you a good chance of making par. Last but not least, the Avon is the shortest of the three but requires golfers to  hit the ball straight and true with course management being the key to a good score.

  • 3.5 out of 5 Top 10 without a doubt!

Excellent course with three distinct 9's. All holes are different and smallish greens and plenty of rough make it a great test. Well worth trying, especially for £18 at weekends

  • 4 out of 5 A couple of windy and rainy days

    By brooko2006

I have played this course twice now and unfortantly both have been on very wet and windy days, but I must say the drainge was quite good as soon as it had stopped raining the fairways and greens were draining very quickly, other than that I would say its a very well kept course if not the most demanding one I have played. But what you pay for it it is a very good day out.

  • 2 out of 5 Not in the top 10 in Bristol

Although this course is very cheap, you get what you pay for I'm afraid. With so many other courses to choose from in the Bristol area I'm afraid this one is only worth visiting if you cant get on anywhere else. Try Knowle for a harder test a mile or so up the road.
