  • 5 out of 5 A Great Day Out

    By Phil Sutton

From the moment we arrived (1 hour late due to Reading Traffic), Barney in the pro shop made us feel welcome and was extremely helpful in re-arranging our tee times. The condition of the course was superb, with grass tees in use (no mats to be seen). Considering the amount of rain over the previous few days the fairways were firm and the greens were fairly quick and true. Most of the fairways are quite generous with strategically placed bunkers for the golfers who do not think their way around. The only negative point was stones in some of the bunkers, but most bunkers seemed fine. I would highly recommend this course as it is a good challenge.

  • 5 out of 5 Superb challenge of a course

    By Barry

Booked 2-fore-1 as we had played Caversham before as a foursome and enjoyed the day. This time the day was great weather, the course in immaculate condition and the greens superfast. Shame our golf.couldn't rise to the occasion but brilliant day all the same. High handicap visitors should not be put off - it's tough but rewarding and if you use a buggy you should arrive not too tired to enjoy the great clubhouse.

  • 4 out of 5 Excellant long course

    By stevemadgolfer

A monster course, 6300+ off yellow tees!Excellant condition throughtout, greens well good but slow, good layout a real challenge as long as you drive a long way!....no ball cleaners on any hole which is strange, the only downside. No waiting on any hole, like having your very own course.

  • 4 out of 5 Cavesham in winter

    By Iain Biggar

haveing played the day before at another course we arived with all weather gear.we were amazaed to se how dry and fast the fairways and greens played. The course was like no one had played before us although we could see groups in front it felt like we had the whole course to ourselves. wide open fairways and well protected greens made it a great day even if they had moved the markers to ladys tees this was still testing. Look forward to a quick return here.

  • 4.5 out of 5 very good young course

    By madennis

First played this course when it first opened and it did look a bit open but the course as aged well. The gourse is punishing and the green undulating. With a good spinkler system the course always looks good. A great finish with a par 3 over water and normally into a wind and a par 4 to finish with trees right and gourse left. Well worth a visit
