Founded in 1888, Royal Winchester is one of the oldest, and the only Royal golf club, in Hampshire. Relocated to it's current position in 1901, it is just a couple of miles from the centre of wonderful Winchester.

The golf course is a testing and enjoyable challenge for golfers of all abilities, made more difficult when the wind blows. Occupying one of the highest points in the area there are some spectacular views over the surrounding countryside and another plus factor is that it sits on chalk downs so the golf course drains exceptionally well and very rarely closes.
