Little Hay Golf Complex

What we say

Considered to be one of the best places to play golf in the county, Little Hay Golf Complex is a pay and play course that has a host of facilities for golfers of all abilities to take advantage of.

Located in the beautiful surroundings of the Hertfordshire countryside, the parkland course is set in the rolling Chiltern Hills and is close to the village of Bovingdon. One of the finest affordable pay and play golf facilities in the south-east.

Little Hay has grown over the years, and now as well as a superb 18-hole course, there's a 25 bay driving range, a six-hole short course, a putting green and a practice bunker - all designed to help you with your game.

Coupled with these features Little Hay has a fantastic restaurant on site which includes an event suite for conferences, weddings and private parties.

Everyone is welcome at Little Hay, and they say they would be delighted if you made Little Hay your home of Golf in Hertfordshire.

This is a nice coure, challenging and rewarding, however the course managment lets it down. I had a tee time booked at 8.45am with them saying it is busy so please turn up on time. We arrived ready to go at 8.30, did not tee off till until closer to 9.30 with at least two groups on the fairway and a lot of angry golfer behind us with some who had just turned up to play without booking. It took 3 hrs o get round 6 holes. We then went to the club house to ask for a refund or at least a nother time to finsh our round, we were treated with rude behaviour and no apology. I had no reply to 3 letters i sent to the secretary after. My friends and I will not play this course again.

Little HAy is a wide and very forgiving course with gentle undulations it doesn't punish your bad drives to severlybut does test your long iron approach skills with several 375 yard plus par 4's ther one real thing that let little hay down when i played was the mats that where in use
