Stonehaven Golf Club

Last Updated:

What we say

Short but spectacular par-66 layout next to the East Coast railway line and perched high on the cliffs overlooking the North Sea and Stonehaven Bay. It straddles the Highland Fault Line which divides Scotland from west to east and in fact splits the 13th and 15th holes with golfers having to hit their drives over a gap known as ‘The Gully’.

Located overlooking the North Sea, Stonehaven Golf Club is a short but stiff challenge for all standards of golfer. A 100-yard carry over a gap known as 'The Gully' is one of the harder challenges that will be faced, but several other water hazards must also be negotiated.

The course provides stunnings views of the North Sea, Stonehaven Bay and the town itself. Dolphins and seals can often be seen if you can draw yourself away from the golf.
