Aigas Golf Course

What we say

Said to be something of a hidden gem, the 9-hole Aigas Golf Course is maturing well after little more than 15 years since it’s opening.

The picturesque 2,339-yard par-33 course opens with a challenging par-5 hole. The 515-yard 1st can be daunting for the shorter length drivers, but can be made relatively simple by low handicap players.

With a nice mix of par-3s and par-4s, as well as some new water features, the Aigas course makes for good value-for-money.

The Masheter family has owned Mains of Aigas farm since 1960. The cottages were developed through the years to supplement the farm activities and the idea of building our own 9-hole golf course at Aigas was spawned in 1991.

The golf course opened for limited play in July 1993. Large greens and wide undulating fairways are a popular feature of the golf course and some of the beautiful scenery surrounding Aigas can be seen by viewing each hole on this website.

The golf course has matured well during the first 10 years of play and we strive to keep it well manicured at all times. We have added a number of water features and bunkers to the golf course and are always looking to make further improvements to enhance the golf course.
