The 12 holes at Gogarburn Golf Club are a joy for beginners and mid-to-high handicappers to play. The short Midlothian course has a variety of par-3s and par-4s, ranging in lengths from as short as 109-yards to 330 yards.

While the length of the course may detract better players, this course is more challenging than it appears on paper. Good course management and consistent iron play are required to post good scores, with pin placements often in difficult positions, such as tucked behind the sloping banks of greenside bunkers.

This is a good value course ideal for those looking for a chilled, relaxed golfing experience.

Located just off the Edinburgh to Glasgow road (A8) this parkland golf course offering provides an enjoyable stretch of the legs amid beautiful Midlothian scenery.

It is only a short distance from the airport and is easily accessible from all areas. Founded in 1975, it features just 12 holes for a great challenge all year round.
