What we say
Swanston is an 18-hole golf course (5004 yards. Par 66). It is the home of Swanston New Golf Club; members and visitors are both welcome. In July this year a new clubhouse will be open for use with a full bar and catering service. A fitness suite and function room will be available too. Please contact us for more details. All the facilities are open to members and non-members.
In 2008 six new holes will open for play on the lower ground (previously farmland) ultimately replacing six of the steeper holes in the original layout. Combined with a few modifications to the remaining 12 holes and the new golf course will be 5,557 yards, par 68. An illustration of how the 10th will look is shown above.
During 2006 and 2007 all the existing holes will be in play while the 6 new holes are maturing.
